well its out, pressure washed and half way down.

so far good news

rod bearing to crank clearance is .015, cant get the .016 in there
stock cylinder still looks good, piston is a little worn on the skirts, no biggie, its not going in again.

bad news

i got oil all over again,

. i cleaned it up

mine ran better each time i ran it. only prob is an oil leak out the weep hole in the head. my mechanic will fix it and it will be good for the better part of next year after 16 races already. not an ounce of oil burnin

ive had her on the limiter more times than i could ever count, fires right up, runs stonger than ever. maybe i lucked out with my builder

blind maybe, but i refuse to call what i had done a mistake, if you heard what i put this motor through. oil comes out clear, and doesnt make a lick of extra noise, pulls harder now then when it was put together. almost like it is just getting broke in, and my ace mechanic said she is just getting started. i believe him after what i have experianced with this thing. all in all i cant complain.

ok, the ups guy, my buddy came today,

.

opened the box and seen new parts, oh yea.

pulled out the cp piston, read the papers on it, thats a first,

pulled out the cw cylinder and hated that its a dark gray color, how is it going to be a sleeper with the wrong color cylinder,

.

started to check ring gaps, both top and second ring are .010 to tight. so im going to find someone with a ring file to bring them back into specs. no im not going to grab the wifes nail file and go to town,

. its going to be done right.

still waiting on the bottom end parts, i hope to have them by friday, please pray for me guys. i would like to have it up and running by tues so i can break it in before i go racing next friday,
