Name: Justin Garwood

Age: 27

Hometown: North Jackson, OH

Years Riding: I have been riding since I was a kid. Raced bikes for 3 years, which was 11 years ago. Riding and racing quads for 4 months.

Machine/mods: 2008 Yfz450, stock motor, Hipers, Precision steering stabilizer, Houser +2 steering stem, GT rebuilds, GT A-arms.

Sponsors: BBI!!!

Single or married: Single until July 5

Kids? None

Do you have any other toys or hobbies outside of riding and racing? Riding the utility, Truck pulling, Showing Cattle (Not so much anymore), Work to pay for the racing and wedding.

Favorite track: So far Lightning. It seems to have everything. Not sure about the road crossings though.

Favorite rider (GNCC or other): The CRA guys have been great. I have not got to meet many other riders yet to have a favorite.

Things you do to make sure race day goes as planned (during the week)? Change oil, filter, and air filters every week. Check over what I can and go race.

Who do you look up to? My dad, he never quits working.

What drives you to race, and why? I love to get out there and go. It gives me 1 hour a week when my drivers, terminal managers, and dad cannot bother me for anything. I enjoy every minute of each race. (Except sitting in the creek at Mansfield)

If gas prices wasnt an issue, where would you like to take your quad to race or ride? I have to race at least one GNCC to say I did. It does not matter how I finish, I just want race one.

What would your dream machine be other than your current ride? Not sure. This is the only quad that I have ridden other than a 97 Warrior. Right now, this yfz450 is working just great.

How do you really feel about covering me with mud at the Mansfield race? lol. Sorry

Funny you should say that. I was driving around when I got a call from Bob and realized that I had left something out of the interview. BBI!!! Racing is only a third of the fun. Practicing, racing, and the pictures. Pretty much takes up my whole week now! :D

Thanks. I would not go that far, I think it is just beginners luck. It was nice meeting you also. Next time I will try catching you before the start.
