Name: Mark William Lambright (william after my gramps, whom i never got to talk as a man, still bothers me today)
Age: 34 nov 35 lol
Hometown: East Palestine
Years Riding: about 22 years
Machine/mods: a stroked 06 honda 450er/kicker and an 08 450er pipes, cams the simple stuff.
Sponsors: my mom and dad, wife, sis's, and my sons. if they didnt enjoy watching me and participating, i would quit today. not. lol..............when my boys are ready for this stuff, i will quit, i cant watch them wish, it would be selfish.
Single or married: married to the girl that i met hot rodding around in my 72 chevy longbed stepside, with a 327 3-speed. we were young, in high school, here we are in 2008
Kids? 2 boys. Joey 9 riding since he was 4, santa brought him an lt80. He looks like me on a quad. Jared just inherited joes kfx. he is quickly learing the in's and out's of this woods thing.
Do you have any other toys or hobbies outside of riding and racing? i have a 69 chevelle. i used to take the motor out just to clean it....................................not any more.lol it needs some work, but it is out of the weather, so it can wait a while.lol
Favorite track: lightning. win or lose, the track has been so good to me starting on my 3rd year racing. hands down.
Favorite rider (GNCC or other): Dave Simmons . they guy just has so much heart, if i could near his speed someday, i would feel a goal was reached
Things you do to make sure race day goes as planned (during the week)? tighten bolts. clean oil, clean air filter, adjusted chain, adjusted tire pressure. that will pretty much get you through.
Who do you look up to? my dad. just because.
What drives you to race, and why? i really didnt play many sports in school, i found something i was good at, and since then, i have committed myself and thrived on getting that first place feeling. and it continues to grow today.
If gas prices wasnt an issue, where would you like to take your quad to race or ride? to every national gncc race, and give what i believe would be my heart
What would your dream machine be other than your current ride? a 2009 Honda 450 R (BLACK)
thanks mark
